FAQs

Does this PGD cover both oral and injectable typhoid?

Yes, the PGD supports the clinical choice between administration routes. Deltera’s logic guides the pharmacist to the correct option based on patient age and medical history.

How long does Typhoid protection last?

Protection typically lasts for three years. Deltera’s patient portal keeps a history of the vaccination, allowing you to remind patients when a booster is due for their next trip.

Can children receive this vaccine?

Yes, within specific age limits defined in the PGD. Deltera’s pre-screening automatically filters for age eligibility to prevent any clinical errors during the booking process.

Is the GP notified after the service?

Absolutely. Deltera automates the GP notification once the Typhoid service is completed, ensuring integrated care and saving your team significant administrative time.
