We're pleased to announce the launch of the Foundayo (orforglipron) PGD Weight Management Service, now available through the Deltera Platform.

At Deltera, we're continually looking at opportunities to identify and develop new services that improve access to healthcare within local communities, while supporting community pharmacies to expand what they can offer their patients. The introduction of Foundayo provides another treatment option within weight management, and supports pharmacy teams in delivering accessible, clinically governed services.

Why Foundayo matters for your clinic

Foundayo (orforglipron) is Eli Lilly's oral GLP-1 receptor agonist — a small-molecule, non-peptide tablet that can be taken once daily, at any time, with no food or water restrictions. It's not the first tablet-based weight loss treatment on Deltera — Wegovy Tablets are already part of our Weight Management collection — but Foundayo's dosing profile means it can be taken any time of day without the food and water restrictions that come with existing oral GLP-1s, adding a genuinely different option for patients weighing up a tablet-based service.

For your pharmacy, it means a fifth option alongside Mounjaro, Wegovy Injection, Wegovy Tablets, and Saxenda in your Weight Management collection — widening the net for patients who may not have been suited to, or interested in, an injectable service, or who found the restrictions of existing oral options a barrier to starting treatment.

As with every PGD in the Deltera library, the Orforglipron PGD has been built and clinically governed by our medical team, with digital BMI and red-flag logic built into the pre-screen and consultation flow, so your team can offer the service with the same confidence and audit-readiness you already rely on for our other weight management PGDs.

What's new

The relevant Orforglipron PGD and updated training file are now available for review by your pharmacy teams within the Governance Area.

Action required

To enable your pharmacies and staff to start offering the Foundayo service, please complete the following:

1. Review and sign the Orforglipron PGD Log into your Superintendent's Area to review and sign the PGD.

Once we receive confirmation that you've signed, we'll assign the PGD to your Foundayo service and Weight Management multi-service. This typically takes up to 2 working days, though it's often completed sooner.

2. Map your pharmacies to the Foundayo service Assign the service to the relevant branches across your estate.

3. Map relevant staff to the Foundayo service Assign trained Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians so they can start delivering the service.

4. Communicate the launch to your pharmacy teams Let your Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians know that the new Orforglipron training file and PGD are now available within their Governance Area for review.

Once these steps are complete, your mapped pharmacies and staff will be able to provide the Foundayo service in line with your organisation's governance processes.
